Posts: 990 (10/06/09 01:04:53) Troop 40 Troop Commander Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None It was fun huh, think about this guys, the team needs training, if you dont think so, just laugh about how easy it was for two sections to get ghosted in broad daylight. its fun to parade and salute and have gear that looks cool but if we dont know how to move, communicate and survive on the field its just a show. so I want you guys to look up on the interwebs how small units operate, Im not talking about the fancy gear they use but how they patrol and communicate and funcion in battle conditions. write down notes in paragraph form describing what mistakes were made and how they can be avoided in the future and we will have a discussion at the next game. most of you havent had real training so I cant be toocritical, but I can point you in the right direction, with time and training days you guys can become an awsome fighting force, able to take objectives easily no matter what is thrown your way. We all had a big laugh over Bozz's action, but in real life, you'd all be flying home in a fucking box. In the defense of the section commanders, most of your actions were well thought of, but poor planning in its initial stages... after I arrived and announced that I was your guide, better plans and preparation would've been required as well as ROE (rules of engagement) should've been laid... as opposed to running towards your objective. I think a boot camp is in order for all of us in order to learn these basic principles. I'd suggest perhaps an "academic" day with lessons on basic doctrine. I'm afraid that I'm not qualified to even begin to teach such a thing as I'm from the armoured school of war which has no real realistic bearing on the infantry that we do. Ox, if you would be interested in giving such a lecture, I can arrange for one of the rooms at Arnold's LSl. We can do lectures and apply principles on the field in order to put to practise. What do you think?

I can help Cpt.OX with teaching it as I was in the infantry and Pvt.Bozz can help to. As he was a part of a infantry cadet corp and held the rank of SGT.
